Dr. Bird
Dr. Nathan Bird grew up in the small town of Alsea, Oregon, located just outside of Corvallis. He completed his undergraduate studies at University of Oregon and graduated from Temple University School of Dentistry in Philadelphia.
During his time in Philadelphia, he participated in community outreach programs focusing on increasing access to dentistry for children, such as Give Kids a Smile. He is currently an active member of the American Dental Association, Washington State Dental Association and the Mount Baker Dental Society. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his two daughters. He also enjoys running, biking and hiking in the great outdoors of the Pacific Northwest.

Front Office Manager
Amy: Amy came into the dental field fourteen years ago after leaving a 911 dispatching career of 17 years. She enjoys getting to know the patients and following their care. She understands all facets of operations and is an amazing asset to our practice. Amy lives on Camano Island with her husband, a Snohomish County Deputy. In her off time, Amy works along side Bad Dog Distillery in Arlington, as a bartender and their social media guru. She enjoys spending any free time time as a "nana" with her grandsons, traveling, gardening, riding her motorcycle, and walking her dogs; Stella, Chief and Fonzie.
Assistants
Angie: After graduating from the Dental Assistant Program at Makalapa Naval Dental Clinic in Pearl Harbor, HI in 1998. Shortly after she moved to the Pacific Northwest where she has lived ever since. A true nature lover, she enjoys wildlife and landscape photography and has traveled all over the west coast.
Jaclyn: After a previous career as a CNA and Legal-Medical Transcriptionist, she decided on a career change and pursued dentistry. She graduated from SPIDA in Jan 2020 and started working for our office shortly after. As a lifetime resident of the Stanwood/Camano area, she feels blessed to be able to serve the same community she grew up in. In her off time, you can find her clamming, crabbing, kayaking and enjoying all that island living has to offer. She also enjoys traveling, roller coasters, drive-in movies and helping her husband with various wood working projects.
Jamie: Jamie graduated from a dental assisting program in 2004. She enjoys helping patients feel comfortable in the dental chair and supporting them in all aspects of their dental health. In her spare time, Jamie spends time with her husband, their daughter and the families two dogs. They all enjoy hiking, swimming, playing board games, and visting with friends and extended family.
Hygienists
Tamsyn: As a child, Tamsyn always loved going to the dentist and appreciated the excellent care she received while there. As a dental hygienist, she recreates that same experience for her patients. Establishing personal relationships with her patients with a concentration on education and motivation is the foundation of her clinical approach. Tamsyn grew up in La Conner on a small farm just outside of town. When she is not at work, Tamsyn spends her time running, writing, and traveling.
Hannah: Hannah graduated from Lake Washington Institute of Technology in 2015. After serving the small town of Darrington for 9 years, she is excited to be back in her hometown of Stanwood! Hannah is passionate about creating a comfortable space for every single patient and treating everyone with a caring touch. In her free time, Hannah enjoys painting, knitting, antiquing, and being home with her husband and cat. After they are done with bigger house renovations, she hopes to try her hand at gardening and get some chickens.
